"This is a delicious warming dessert that will work as a family pudding or a special dinner party dessert..depending how you serve it!"
You will need....
1/3 cup Manuka Honey
1 Orange, zest and juice
1 Lemon, zest and juice
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tbsp grated Fresh Ginger
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
250g Medjool Dates
½ cup water
Sea Salt, to taste
3 small Bosc Pears, unpeeled, quartered and cores removed
Clevedon Valley Vanilla Bean Buffalo Yoghurt
1. Preheat oven to 200®C
2. Place all ingredients, except pears, in a small saucepan. Simmer over a medium heat for 10 minutes.
3. Place the pears in a 23cm baking dish, cut side up. Pour the honey date mixture over the pears and roast for about 30 minutes or until
tender and begin to caramelise. Baste occasionally. Remove from oven. Serve warm or cold with buffalo yoghurt.
